About
Derbyshire Machine & Tool Co. has manufactured machined products to customer requirements since 1905 and has operated from the same location in Philadelphia throughout. In 1967 the company pioneered the use of CNC for job shop applications.
Its 30,000 sq. ft. facility includes 18,235 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, 3,185 sq. ft. of office space and 8,580 sq. ft. of warehouse space, equipped with Okuma, OKK and Haas CNC turning and machining centers, manual lathes and mills, drilling, sawing, welding and grinding equipment, a heat treat furnace and hydrostatic and pneumatic booster pumps up to 33,500 PSI. The quality system is MIL-I-45208 certified, welding follows military-approved procedures, and a resident QAR is on site.
