About
CMP Group traces its roots to a foundry established in the early 1900s in Vancouver. Using its non-ferrous casting expertise it entered the commercial marine market, producing zinc and aluminum anodes, and grew through acquisitions into a global supplier. The Octopus autopilot line was acquired with Comprehensive Manufacturing Technologies in 2000.
The company holds ISO 9001 certification since 1999 and operates from Delta (head office), Vaughan, Suffolk (Virginia), Casella (Italy) and Ningbo (China).
