Description
The Apogee series is a line of high-performance MEMS inertial navigation systems in three versions: Apogee-A (AHRS), Apogee-E (INS with external GNSS) and Apogee-D (all-in-one INS/GNSS with an RTK and PPP-ready dual-antenna receiver).
Key features
- Very low noise gyroscopes, low latency and high vibration resistance
- Heave accuracy of 5 cm; roll and pitch accuracy of 0.008 °; Apogee-D heading of 0.02 °
- Real-time heave that adapts to sea conditions, plus delayed heave for higher accuracy
- PTP grand master clock and NTP server
- Synchronization of LiDAR and cameras over Ethernet to better than 1 microsecond
Applications
Described as ideal for multibeam sonar compensation from shallow to deep water surveys, as well as aerial mapping and remote sensing.
